RE: Parking Information and Update

During construction in and around the School of Music and the College of Education several parking mitigation strategies were utilized to minimize the impact of construction on campus parking.

One such strategy was the implementation of a parking meter override program on University Street between 15th and 18th Avenues which allowed university parking permit holders to park in these spaces without feeding the meters. With the end of construction on the southwest corner of campus and the opening of the new parking lots in that area, the parking meters on University Street between 15th and 18th Avenues have been returned to normal use.

Beginning Monday, July 13th, these meters will require that individual parkers pay for timed parking as posted on the meters.
