Parking Update - August 4, 2009
The Millrace bridge will be closed about four weeks, from Monday 8/3 through Friday 8/28. Signs will be posted Monday.
This closure will require rerouting Facilities and AAA traffic to the east by way of Riverfront Parkway (Agate) and the temporary access road past the greenhouses. This vehicular, bike and pedestrian traffic patterns are based on what was used and worked a few years ago when the Millrace Bridge was replaced.
This closure was scheduled during the summer to minimize impact to campus activities. This particular summer period has been identified, based on preliminary feedback from departments as having the least potential impact on campus activities. The Contractor has been in touch with the City and the Fire Department has been notified.
