The Department of Public Safety has and maintains Lost and Found property. We store only property of value. To claim an item that you feel is your property, you will need to be able to prove ownership (documents or some type of proof). If that is not possible you will be required to describe the property, date/time it was lost, and location where the property was lost. You will need to come to Public Safety to pick up the property.

By turning property into DPS, you will lose all rights to claim the property at a later date and time.

Please bring a piece of photo identification or a valid Driver's License with you to the Public Safety office. We are located at 1319 E. 15th Ave. on the U of O campus during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Contact the front counter and someone will assist you.

Storage Policy: Property that is turned into DPS that is of little or no value (Clothing, umbrella's, empty backpacks, etc…) will be turned over to the EMU Break.
